Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage includes a 30-day start-up warranty from the date of purchase. This covers internal mechanical components only, including:

​

  • Engine block

  • Cylinder head

  • Rotating assembly

​

This does not cover:

  • Sensors

  • Hoses

  • Belts

  • External accessories

  • Wiring or looms​​​

What Voids Warranty

  • Damage during delivery

  • Installation by an unqualified person

  • Opening, modifying, or disassembling the engine or gearbox

Once an item has been dispatched and handed over to the freight or courier service, responsibility for the
shipment transfers to the buyer. We strongly recommend inspecting palletised items upon arrival and
noting any visible damage on arrival.
 

If an item arrives damaged:

  1. Take clear photos of any damage

  2. Contact us as soon as possible via email

  3. We will review the information provided and determine the appropriate course of action

Making a Warranty Claim

To make a claim:

  1. Contact us with your order details

  2. Provide evidence of the issue

  3. Provide proof of installation by a qualified professional

If the issue is verified, a refund or replacement will be offered at our discretion. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Used and imported motors and gearboxes are non-returnable unless a verified fault is present. Any returns must be approved before the items are sent back.

Refunds & Returns

​Please choose your products carefully, as refunds will not be provided for processed and dispatched orders unless the goods are faulty or otherwise covered under the terms below.

We only accept returns if:

  • The goods are defective in appearance or performance or,

  • The products fail to operate within their intended specification or expected duration and abide by the terms laid out above regarding warranty claims.

Change of mind purchases:

 

If you have:

  • Changed your mind,

  • Ordered the incorrect item, or

  • Selected the wrong colour or variant,

Ironwood Imports is not obligated to accept the return or provide a refund under these circumstances. However, in some cases, we may offer a return or exchange at our discretion. A restocking fee may apply in such cases.​

If you need to return a product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
