Ironwood Imports supplies engines, gearboxes, and other automotive components sourced from Thailand and Japan. Shipping is available to Australia and New Zealand only.
Due to the size, weight, and nature of many items we sell, shipping costs and methods vary depending on the product and destination. All shipping is arranged and quoted manually to ensure accuracy.
Motors & Gearboxes
All motors and gearboxes are shipped on pallets delivered via freight services. Delivery must be made to:

A business address with forklift access, or;

The nearest freight depot for collection
Residential delivery is not available for palletised items.
Small Items & Accessories
All smaller items and accessories (e.g., differentials, ECUs, looms, etc.) are shipped via standard courier services. Delivery to residential or business addresses is available. Tracking details are provided upon purchase.
All shipping costs are quoted manually. Pricing depends on item size and weight, delivery location, and the type of freight service required. Shipping costs are confirmed before payment and are included in the order summary at checkout.
Once payment has cleared, all orders are dispatched within 48 hours. Estimated delivery times vary by location, but generally take no longer than 10 days to be delivered.
Any items being picked up locally will be available for pick up within 7 business days of purchase. We will contact you to organise a pick up time.
Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by freight schedules, weather, or other factors outside of our control.
Once an item has been dispatched and handed over to the freight or courier service, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the buyer. We strongly recommend inspecting palletised items upon arrival and noting any visible damage on arrival.

Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Used and imported motors and gearboxes are non-returnable unless a verified fault is present. Any returns must be approved before the items are sent back.
